Yukimuro (Snow-Aged) Wagyu A4 is a premium Japanese wagyu beef aged using the traditional “Yukimuro” snow-cellar method from Niigata, Japan. Stored in naturally cooled snow chambers at near-freezing temperatures with high humidity, the beef undergoes a gentle aging process that enhances tenderness, sweetness, and deep umami flavour.

With its rich marbling, buttery texture, and exceptionally juicy finish, Snow-Aged Wagyu A4 delivers a clean, mellow beef taste with a refined mouthfeel that melts effortlessly on the palate. Ideal for steak, yakiniku, or premium dining experiences.


Cooking Method – Yukimuro (Snow-Aged) Wagyu A4 Steak

  1. Remove the wagyu from the chiller 20–30 minutes before cooking to bring it closer to room temperature.
  2. Lightly season with sea salt and black pepper. Keep seasoning minimal to preserve the natural flavour.
  3. Heat a pan until very hot. No oil is usually needed due to the rich marbling.
  4. Sear the steak for about 1–2 minutes per side depending on thickness. For thicker cuts, sear the edges as well.
  5. Add a small knob of butter, garlic, and herbs if desired, then baste briefly for extra aroma.
  6. Rest the steak for 3–5 minutes before slicing to retain its juices.
  7. Serve medium-rare for the best texture, tenderness, and buttery melt-in-the-mouth experience.
